Baby Daddies

Today I just have to speak on "Baby Daddies".  I know that not all fathers are the same but I know quite a few of them who think that their way of taking care of their children is only by paying child support.  Now, this depends on how much the child support order is...for instance, if a man/woman is ordered to pay, let's say, $300 to $500 a month for child support, then I would say that he is helping. But if a man/woman is ordered to pay $37 a week and they don't really do anything else for the child, then they are not helping to take of the child.  I am one of those people who get next to nothing and my kids dad thinks that he is doing his part!  I have applied for an adjustment and will be getting that soon but this is ridiculous! 

It takes two tangle and two parents to take care of their children.  Although there are plenty of single parents in this world, we really would like some help every now and then. We all know that being a parent is no easy task but doing it alone is even harder!  Just off the top of my head...

"Welfare" system

I woke up this morning thinking about what exactly is the government doing to help those who need assistance.  We are supposed to be coming out of the "recession" but who is coming out of the recession?  There are still too many people who are unemployed yet they cannot get unemployment benefits.  Who is helping them?  I want to believe that our government will come to the rescue but how long will it take before that happens?  Just something off the top of my head...
